Zoopla ramps up lead-generation push with AI tools

Zoopla has unveiled a suite of new products and AI-powered tools aimed at giving agents more high-quality vendor leads and a stronger return on investment, in what it calls its “biggest drive yet” to win instructions for branches.

The portal, which says over 120,000 new homeowners join its platform every month and more than 4.8 million track their home value and demand, is doubling down on its commitment to deliver vendor opportunities – a top priority for agents under margin pressure in a cooling market.
At the heart of the strategy is Prospect Plus, its lead-generation tool that Zoopla claims represents £2 billion in potential sales commission.

Early users, the company said, are reporting conversion rates of 43% from lead to instruction, with hundreds of branches already signed up.

GREATER VALUE

In a letter to customers yesterday morning Rich Hayes (main picture), Chief Operating Officer at Zoopla, said Prospect Plus was designed to stop rival branches stealing instructions.

“Prospect Plus connects agents directly with high-intent sellers. The agents already on board are seeing results that speak for themselves. Don’t miss out on your competitors winning that instruction.”

AI-LISTING ENHANCEMENTS

Zoopla is also piloting AI-driven enhancements to property listings, claiming an 80% increase in views during testing.

Hayes said this was “just the start”, with more artificial intelligence tools due to be rolled out where they deliver the “greatest value for agents.”

The company is pitching itself as a “vital marketing partner” for agents, offering growth opportunities across buyers, renters, vendors and landlords.

Hayes stressed that the focus was on converting leads into instructions, not simply traffic: “What matters most to agents is quality leads and ROI – and that’s where we’re investing heavily.”
