Zoopla has delivered a record number of valuation leads to estate agents with January volumes up 30% year-on-year, underlining a sharp rise in homeowner engagement at the start of 2026.
The portal says that the growth was driven by sustained investment in consumer engagement, designed to increase the flow of high-quality seller leads to agent partners.
This has been backed by a multichannel national advertising campaign promoting the message ‘Just ask Zoopla’, alongside targeted regional marketing to stimulate seller activity at a local level.
The uplift has been felt nationwide, with double-digit growth in valuation leads recorded across every UK region.
FIVE STAR
Five areas – Scotland, the East of England, the South East, South West and North West – saw above-average increases in seller enquiries, highlighting broad-based momentum rather than a single regional spike.
Zoopla says the outlook for valuation activity remains strong, with around one in five consumers stating they expect to buy a home within the next two years.
Its strategy centres on engaging homeowners earlier in their decision-making, using personalised tools and data-led insights to deliver better-quality seller leads for agents.
Agents are being encouraged to maximise the increased demand by using Zoopla’s Prospect Plus product, its highest-converting vendor solution, or Valuation Booster, which positions agents among the top six local firms for valuation enquiries.
TANGIBLE RETURN
Rich Hayes (main picture, inset), chief operating officer at Zoopla, says: “Zoopla’s record month for valuation leads in January is a strong signal of the progress we’ve delivered in becoming a true partner to agents, delivering high-quality leads that helps them grow their business.
“Our ongoing investment in national marketing and ongoing product innovation shows we are committed to driving a tangible return on investment through high-quality homeowners, market-leading products, and our unique data insights that give agents more choice in how they grow with Zoopla.”
