Zoopla buys new homes portal

Zoopla has acquired 100% of the issued share capital of newhomesforsale.co.uk, strengthening its position in the UK new homes market.

The deal brings together Zoopla’s audience data and AI-powered product tools with a specialist new homes platform that supports more than 200 developer customers, including nine of the top ten national housebuilders.
Founded in 1998, newhomesforsale.co.uk currently markets around 2,500 active developments and connects over one million buyers with new-build properties each year, generating approximately 170,000 qualified leads annually.

Zoopla said the acquisition will enhance its ability to deliver higher-quality leads, improved conversion rates and stronger return on investment for housebuilders.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

The portal has recently expanded its new homes proposition, signing strategic partnerships with major developers including Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon Homes, and reported a 53% increase in new homes leads year-on-year.

Following completion, newhomesforsale.co.uk will continue to operate as a standalone brand with its existing leadership team, while benefiting from Zoopla’s data capabilities and product investment.
