Yopa has raised over £6,500 for UK schools, charities and sports programmes via the firm’s Fund the Future initiative, with the funds raised helping support the dreams and endeavours of those across the nation.
Yopa’s Fund the Future initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to support local communities and schools, ensuring that educational opportunities are not limited by financial constraints.
By placing sponsorship boards in local neighbourhoods, Yopa helps raise awareness and essential funds while fostering community involvement.
By deploying 126 sponsorship boards across the local area, Stuart Randalls, Yopa’s Franchise Owner for Plymouth, takes the top spot with most boards raised.
FUTURE ENDEAVOURS
As a result, he was able to help raise £1,512 for Lakeside Athletics Under 12 Girls Team, with the funds significantly contributing to the team’s ongoing development and future endeavours.
Dan Pavitt, Yopa’s franchise Owner for South Wales, managed to raise 106 boards in aid of Graig Villa Football Club, raising a huge £1,272 in the process.
Yopa’s Franchise Owner for Rotherham & Barnsley, Michael Caster, also helped raise £612 for Newman School just outside Sheffield, funds that were desperately needed to help replace the school’s minibus which play a vital role in facilitating educational trips and activities for the students – but was recently stolen.
Other initiatives to have benefited include Sutton School with Yopa’s local franchise owner, Emma Wallington, helping to raise £1,008.
Neil Ballard, Yopa’s Local franchise owner for Newbury and Reading, helped to raise £624 for the Hurst School, whilst Pauline Day in Ayrshire helped the Woodland Wakeup scheme to raise £528.
UNFORGETTABLE
Steve Faith, representing Lakeside Athletic, says: “Thanks to Yopa and the Fund the Future initiative, we were able to take the girls and their families on an unforgettable 3-night camping trip to Newquay, creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
“We’re also planning to invest in camera equipment to help improve our football training.
“A huge thank you to the friends and family of the club who hosted a Yopa board in their garden for 8 weeks – it certainly got the neighbours talking! We look forward to working with Yopa again and hope to achieve even more next time.”
ONE STEP CLOSER
Sarah Kulmer, representing Newman School, adds: “The support from Yopa’s Fund the Future scheme has been incredible.
“The funds raised bring us one step closer to purchasing a new minibus, which is crucial for our students’ learning experiences outside the classroom. We are deeply thankful to Yopa and everyone in the community who participated.”
