Yopa’s bold move to shake up estate agency careers with new empowerment campaign

Estate franchise Yopa has launched what it calls a groundbreaking initiative aimed at redefining career opportunities in the sector, particularly for women and working parents.

Titled “Empowering Careers Through Estate Agency,” the campaign is led by Yopa Chief Executive Verona Frankish (main picture), who also chairs the Women in Estate Agency group.
The initiative puts a spotlight on Yopa’s Associate Model, which offers flexibility for agents seeking autonomy over their careers while balancing personal commitments.

With estate agency often perceived as a rigid, high-pressure profession, Yopa’s campaign challenges the status quo by offering two distinct career paths.

CAREER PATHS

The Franchise Model: A full-time, business-building opportunity where agents operate within designated postcode areas. Yopa supports franchisees with lead generation, brand advertising, and marketing initiatives to drive success.

The Associate Model: A flexible alternative allowing agents to generate their own opportunities without geographical constraints – ideal for those needing to balance career and personal responsibilities while maintaining professional success.

HIGH IMPACT INITIATIVES

The campaign is backed by a series of high-impact initiatives, including webinars featuring industry leaders and successful agents who have built thriving businesses using Yopa’s models.

On social media the #BreakingBarriersWithYopa campaign that will share real-life testimonials and success stories.

Case studies will also be used to showcase the diverse ways in which both models support agents in achieving their ambitions.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GOALS

Frankish says: “Empowering women isn’t just about providing opportunities; it’s about creating environments where they can thrive, lead, and shape their futures.

“At Yopa, we recognise that success doesn’t look the same for everyone. Our aim is to provide agents – women and men – with career options that align with their personal and professional goals.”
