Yopa boards raise more than £6,000 for local causes

Yopa has raised more than £6,000 for grassroots community projects during 2025 through its board sponsorship initiatives, supporting schools, sports clubs and charities across the UK.

Over the year, the online estate agent partnered with 17 community organisations through schemes including Fund The Future and Tech For Schools.
A total of 477 sponsorship boards were placed, generating £6,025 for local projects and facilities.

The initiative uses property boards as a fundraising tool for organisations that often rely heavily on donations and community support, while also strengthening Yopa’s local presence in the areas where its agents operate.

GOOD CAUSES

Among the largest beneficiaries was Lozells Strikers, the Birmingham-based community football and sports group, which raised £817 from 43 boards.

Ely District Scouts received £660 from 55 boards, while Birdwell Primary School secured £648 from 54 boards.

Several primary schools also benefited, including North Heath Community Primary School and Georgetown Primary School in Dumfries, which each raised £552.

Yopa says it plans to expand the scheme in 2026 by partnering with more organisations and increasing the level of funding delivered to local communities.

Verona Frankish, Chief Executive Officer at Yopa, says: “Supporting local communities is an important part of who we are at Yopa and these board sponsorship initiatives show how small actions, when repeated at scale, can make a meaningful difference.

“By working closely with schools, clubs and community groups, we’ve been able to turn something as simple as a property board into real financial support for grassroots projects across the country.

“As we look ahead to 2026, we’re keen to build on this momentum, expand the reach of our sponsorship activity and continue strengthening the connection between our agents, their local areas and the communities they serve.”
