Yopa associate gains momentum with athlete partnership

Yopa has reported strong growth across its associate brokerage model over the past six months as rising agent numbers and improved performance drive increased confidence in the proposition.

The business says its associate network has expanded steadily during 2025, with several partners achieving completions ahead of internal forecasts.
Yopa adds that early traction among newer associates has helped strengthen its market presence and credibility, with a growing pipeline now building into 2026.

The associate model allows agents to run their own local businesses while accessing Yopa’s national infrastructure, including brand support, marketing, technology and training.

AUTONOMY AND SCALE

Yopa said this combination of autonomy and scale is increasingly attractive to entrepreneurial agents seeking to grow without the overheads of a traditional branch network.

Momentum within the model has been reflected in faster routes to completion for a number of associates, alongside improved visibility in local markets as the network continues to mature.

Tom Greenacre, Associate Growth Director at Yopa, says: “Over the past six months we’ve seen excellent growth in both our presence and credibility. We’ve been hugely excited to see a number of our associates start to gain traction in their businesses.

“That’s already led to completions coming in within three months, and the pipeline for 2026 is looking very strong. The model is building real momentum in the sector.”

ATHLETE TRANSITION ACCELERATOR

As part of its expansion strategy, Yopa has also announced an exclusive partnership with Athlete Transition Accelerator (ATA), which supports elite athletes as they move into new careers.

The partnership will create a pathway for current and former athletes to establish their own estate agency businesses through Yopa’s associate model, drawing on transferable skills such as discipline, leadership and performance under pressure.

Greenacre adds: “We are delighted to be partnering with Athlete Transition Accelerator. As firm believers in supporting people with transferable skills, this represents an opportunity to give entrepreneurial individuals leaving the sporting world an exciting new chance to grow something of their own.”

CLEAR DEMAND

ATA co-founder Karl Birch says the partnership addresses a clear demand among athletes for sustainable post-sport careers.

“Through this partnership, athletes can explore their entrepreneurial ambitions while still performing at the highest level, developing skills that enhance both their sporting and professional journeys,” he says.
