United Kingdom Sotheby’s International Realty (UKSIR) has poached Hamish Batchen from rival Savills as competition in London’s ultra prime market starts to reach fever pitch.
Batchen joins the firm as Director and has 15 years’ experience and more than five specialising in the luxury real estate sector.
As well as working with some of the most reputable names in the business, including Four Seasons and Six Senses, he has strong relationships with developers and fellow agents who specialise in the prime and super prime sectors.
Before joining UKSIR Hamish held a significant role at Savills, where he managed global sales for a leading branded residence developer and oversaw over £200 million in sales in 18 months.
His work involved considerable international travel, selling London properties to buyers from the USA, Middle East and Asia. His career trajectory has also included a period overseeing property management at a UHNW private family office in London.
He is also renowned for his tough negotiation skills and detailed and client-focused approach.

Liza Lamar, One Sotheby’s and UKSIRBatchen’s appointment follows that of Liza Lamar who joined as Managing Director of the EMEA region for One Sotheby’s and as a Business Development Consultant for UKSIR.
Lamar has been tasked with bridging the gap between East Coast Florida, their key feeder markets abroad and London.
Lamar, who is based in Holland Park, honed her expertise in luxury residential properties for over fifteen years overseeing both development and design as well as marketing and sales.
Having started her career with One Sotheby’s in 2009, she rapidly rose the ranks selling prominent residential towers in Miami and exclusive homes to clients from across the globe.
