The Association for Rental Living’s annual awards – the ARL People Awards 2025 – have opened for nominations.
Recognising individuals making significant contributions to the rental living sector and outstanding customer experiences, the three award categories are Lifetime Achievement, Rising Star and Industry Shaper.
As the membership body for all institutionally backed, professionally managed, purpose-built rental living sectors, the Association for Rental Living is at the heart of promoting excellence, quality and best practice across the sector.
The awards reflect this key responsibility by recognising individuals at the very forefront of rental living excellence.
CORE VALUES
The Lifetime Achievement Award will recognise a long-standing contribution to the rental living sector. Nominees must represent the core values of the sector and have consistently delivered outstanding contributions to its growth or had a significant impact in raising awareness and improving the perception of the rental living sector.
GREAT PROMISE
For the Rising Star Award, nominations are sought for individuals who have shown great promise and outstanding development in the sector. These include people who are still at an earlier stage of their careers in rental living and who represent the core values of the sector, demonstrating drive and initiative in improving the quality of rental living delivery.
CREATING CHANGE
The Industry Shaper Award is for an individual who has been hugely influential in creating change that has impacted the entire rental living sector or who has changed external perceptions of the sector significantly.
MUST-ATTEND EVENT
All three of the People Awards 2025 will be presented at the ARL Rental Living Annual Conference on 6th November 2025. Taking place at One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, the conference is the must-attend event of the year for hundreds of delegates from across the rental living sector.
With 50+ speakers and networking opportunities with key decision makers and sector influencers, the conference has a reputation for leading discussions and driving actions, bringing the entire rental living ecosystem together.

Nominations for the Association for Rental Living People Awards 2025 are welcomed from all parts of the sector – from investors, developers, operators, consultants, suppliers and more.
Anyone who has demonstrated exceptional drive and initiative in improving the customer experience, delivering social value or promoting the value of rental living to customers or influential stakeholders can be nominated via emma@theARL.org.uk before 26th September 2025.
