Strutt & Parker boosts prime London team with two hires

Strutt & Parker has strengthened its Prime Central London presence with two appointments in its Knightsbridge & Belgravia office as the agency continues to invest in its high-end sales capability.

Shereen Akhtar (main picture, right) joins as Senior Associate Director, alongside Tom Glenn (main picture, left) as Associate, both based at the firm’s Sloane Street office.
The hires come as competition intensifies across the prime and super-prime markets, with agents increasingly targeting international buyers and complex, high-value transactions.

The appointments form part of a wider growth push for the firm, following recent hires across its residential and rural divisions, as well as the rollout of a new ‘hybrid’ agency model and expansion of its broker team.

PRIME AND SUPER-PRIME SALES

Akhtar brings 13 years’ experience in the sector, joining from Carter Jonas where she focused on international business through its Christie’s International Real Estate network. She previously spent eight years at UK Sotheby’s International Realty and began her career in wealth management at JP Morgan.

She specialises in prime and super-prime sales across London, including new developments, resale stock and investment portfolios, with a focus on high-net-worth and international clients.

Glenn joins from Chestertons, where he worked across both sales and lettings in Knightsbridge & Belgravia, building experience with major estates, portfolios and family offices.

PIVOTAL POINT

Akhtar says: “Joining Strutt & Parker at this stage in its growth is a brilliant opportunity. I’m excited to extend the client service that is embedded in this business to both new and existing clients.

“We are at a pivotal point in London where the opportunity for international investment in exceptionally well valued prime addresses sits against a backdrop of global geopolitical uncertainty. The importance of insight and client-focused guidance has never been greater.”
