Strutt & Parker has unveiled a new hybrid brokerage operation in London as it looks to expand market share in the capital’s prime markets following investment from shareholder BNP Paribas.
The estate agency, founded in 1885, has spent recent months building out a dedicated broker team to sit alongside its traditional office network, marking a structural shift in its Prime Central and Prime Outer London strategy.
Since September 2025, Andrew Chambers, Toby Downes, Minnie Stainrod and Zach Madison have joined under Claire Reynolds, alongside existing brokers Charles Medina, Hugh Ball and Sarah James, who have an average of 21 years’ experience.
James Gow, formerly Head of London Sales and Head of Sales in the Kensington office, has also moved into the broker team.
SALES AND LETTINGS
The new brokerage sits within the Private Client department, covering both sales and lettings, and works in conjunction with offices in Notting Hill, Kensington, Fulham, Chelsea SW10, Chelsea SW3, South Kensington, Knightsbridge and Belgravia. All brokers are permanent contracted employees.

Claire Reynolds, UK Head of Sales at Strutt & Parker, says: “Since I joined the business last summer, we’ve been strategically strengthening our London estate agency offering to enable us to build a brokerage team that sits alongside our existing office network.
“Strutt & Parker is a unique business, and one that occupies an enviable position in the industry; we are a heritage brand backed by Europe’s leading bank, BNP Paribas.
“As the industry evolves, our size enables us to leverage our ability to both future-proof our business and pivot our structure to place top talent directly into new markets. By integrating brokers within our office network, Strutt & Parker is redefining agency in Prime Central and Prime Outer London.”
ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICE
The firm says that the combined brokerage and office model is designed to enhance client service, preserve its collegiate culture and create alternative career pathways beyond traditional branch management.

Gary Higgins, Managing Director at Strutt & Parker, adds: “Claire’s strategic evolution of our London business has taken our agency operation to the next level and is instrumental to our growth plans.
“She is the only person in our industry who has worked at a high level of management and operations in corporate estate agency and also successfully built a broker-only model.
“In spearheading this strategy, Claire’s rare knowledge has enabled us to fuse brokerage with traditional agency in a cohesive, and future-proofed manner. The benefits will positively impact our clients, our people, and our business both now and in the future.”
Further appointments are expected in the coming weeks as the group continues its expansion plans through 2026, both in London and beyond.
