Sort Group has confirmed the return of its annual industry celebration, Sort Ball 2026, with this year’s event set to be larger than ever as it moves to a new venue in Derby.
The black-tie event, which brings together professionals from across the conveyancing, legal, property and mortgage sectors, will take place on 21 October 2026 at Vaillant Live, with organisers expecting attendance to double following the success of last year’s launch.
Sort Ball was launched to create a dedicated social and networking event for the conveyancing and mortgage industries, offering a rare opportunity for brokers, conveyancers, surveyors and suppliers to meet outside the pressures of day-to-day business.
This year’s event will feature a 1920s theme, with live performances throughout the evening and expanded space to accommodate a larger guest list.
CELEBRATING THE INDUSTRY
The inaugural Sort Ball in 2025 was held in Manchester and featured live performances from Heather Small, The Bootleg Beatles and Amba Strings, with more than 250 industry professionals attending.
The 2026 event is supported by Home Surveying, Mortgage Advice Bureau, Landmark Information Group and Kingsley Bond Solicitors, with organisers saying the backing reflects growing collaboration across the property and conveyancing sectors.

Sort Ball 2026 will begin at 6.30pm on 21 October and run late into the evening, with tickets now on sale.
