Sinclair Hammelton returns to Alto ahead of sales relaunch

Sinclair Hammelton, one of Bromley’s best-known independent estate agencies, has returned to Alto as part of a major relaunch of its sales business.

The agency, led by owners Kathryn and Russell Sinclair, has regained full control of its sales operation and is once again operating independently.
Sinclair Hammelton has opened a new branch in Westerham as part of the reset and is preparing to re-establish its long-standing, community-focused brand across its four-office network.

Alto has been appointed as the agency’s core CRM partner, supporting plans to streamline operations, reduce costs and underpin future growth, particularly as the new Westerham office builds momentum with more than a dozen instructions already lined up.

EASY DECISION

Kathryn Sinclair, Owner Sinclair Hammelton, says returning to Alto was an easy decision for the business and one that was unanimously supported by the management team.

“We used Alto before the business was sold, and everyone preferred it to another CRM provider, who we’d been using for the last seven years.

“The minute we had the choice again, the managers unanimously said, ‘Let’s go back!’

“The current CRM was complicated, report heavy and restrictive; you could only open one page at a time, and so much of the information wasn’t relevant for sales. We’re here to sell houses, and Alto just makes that easier.”

EASIER TO NAVIGATE

She adds that Alto’s usability, multi-tab workflow and prospecting tools were central to the decision: “Alto feels slicker, easier to navigate and fit for a sales-driven business. The updated canvassing and prospecting features were a big selling point. We want one system that does everything, instead of multiple expensive tools.

“We’re cutting unnecessary costs, simplifying processes and bringing everything under one roof.”

“We’re cutting unnecessary costs, simplifying processes and bringing everything under one roof so our team can focus on doing deals. Alto helps us do exactly that.”

Sinclair Hammelton is also benefiting from Alto’s onboarding support as it brings its new offices online.

“Alto has been brilliant. They’ve been straightforward, supportive and focused on getting us to live quickly. We’re already checking migrated data and getting ready to go live because Westerham isn’t on any portals yet. Speed matters, and Alto is helping us move quickly.”

RETURN TO INDEPENDENCE

Nick Shaw (main picture, inset), Chief Revenue officer at Alto, says: “Sinclair Hammelton’s return to independence – and their return to Alto – reflects what we hear from many ambitious agents.

“They want a CRM that’s simple, intuitive and operates as a growth engine that eliminates unnecessary administrative burden.

“Their move to Alto underscores the value of a platform that empowers teams rather than slows them down. We’re thrilled to support Kathryn, Russell and the whole Sinclair Hammelton team as they enter this new chapter.”
