Seymours Estate Agency wins Fundraising Champion Award for Best Community Efforts

Seymours Estate Agency in Woking has been honoured with the Fundraising Champion Award for Best Community by Agent’s Giving.

The award recognises the agency’s outstanding initiatives in support of Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care.

Zo Khan one of the Partners at Seymours in Woking, Surrey, expressed his gratitude and pride: “Winning this award is a testament to our team’s unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in our community.

“After visiting the hospice when it opened, we saw firsthand how valuable their work is for the community. This inspired us to commit to raising awareness and providing financial support for their essential services.”

Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care is a charity that cares for thousands of patients, their carers, and families each year, specialising in delivering holistic care for patients with complex life-limiting and terminal illnesses.

Seymours’ commitment to the hospice has been a cornerstone of their community involvement, with the agency raising over £32,000 in the last 12 months alone and more than £118,000 to date for the charity.

GENUINE INTEREST

Lloyd Moss, Partner of Seymours Prestige Homes, adds: “At Seymours, our fundraising efforts are as important to us as selling houses.

“Our staff take a genuine interest in raising money for the charity. The hospice is at the centre of our strategy meetings each year, and all our staff are fully invested in participating in fundraising events. This passion and dedication from our teams across all offices are what drive our continuous success in fundraising.”

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE

Franco Orlando, from Seymours Land and New Homes, says: “We believe in using our local knowledge and connections to benefit the charity.

“Our partnerships allow us to create memorable events like hosting fundraisers on Woking FC’s professional pitch and facilitating a special Woking & Sam Beare livery for the McLaren Artura road car. Our annual Christmas Carol concert, featuring stars of West End Musicals and local school children, has become a cherished tradition.”

INVALUABLE

Mark Bryne, Chief Executive of Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, adds: “We are incredibly proud of our partnership with Seymours. Their involvement over the last few years, especially during the pandemic, has been invaluable. We are so grateful for their ongoing commitment, which enables us to continue serving patients and their families in our shared community.”
