The Conveyancing Association has added search provider Move Reports as a new affiliate member as the industry continues to focus on speeding up property transactions and improving the flow of information between agents, lawyers and lenders.
Move Reports supplies conveyancing searches and property data to solicitors, conveyancers, estate agents and developers, with a focus on reducing delays in the homebuying process by improving access to key property information.
The company said its platform is designed to help firms order searches more quickly, track cases and share updates, with the aim of cutting hold-ups that can slow exchanges and increase the risk of fall-throughs.
The appointment will allow Move Reports to take part in Conveyancing Association meetings, events and working groups, where the organisation is pushing for better use of data, earlier information gathering and closer integration across the property transaction chain.
IMPROVING THE HOME MOVING PROCESS
The move comes as the sector faces continued pressure to modernise the buying process, with long completion times and poor communication still seen as major causes of delay.

Nicky Heathcote, Non-executive Chair of the Conveyancing Association, says: “Move Reports joining the CA as an Affiliate Member is a welcome addition to the Association and we look forward to working with them, helping them engage with our members to share its expertise and contribute to our work to improve the overall efficiency of the home moving process.”
Darren Tierney, Managing Director at Move Reports, says the firm wanted to play a bigger role in efforts to make transactions faster and more transparent.

He adds: “Joining the Conveyancing Association as an Affiliate Member is a significant step for Move Reports which reflects our commitment to working collaboratively across the industry to improve the home buying and selling process.
“We recognise the critical role property reports play in keeping transactions on track, and we are focused on delivering greater speed, transparency and reliability.”
