Savills has appointed Nick Sanderson as its next Group Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its leadership team ahead of a change at the top of the estate agency and property services group.
Sanderson, a chartered accountant, is expected to join in spring 2026 as CFO and executive director.
He will succeed Simon Shaw (main picture), who becomes chief executive on 1 January 2026 following the retirement of Mark Ridley, announced earlier this year.
Sanderson brings extensive experience in property and finance.
LEADERSHIP TEAM

He spent more than a decade at Great Portland Estates, the FTSE 250 central London REIT.
Prior to this, Sanderson was a Partner and Head of Real Estate Corporate Finance Advisory at Deloitte having previously had 10 years of real estate investment banking experience most recently as a managing director at Nomura.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Arthur Andersen in 1998.

Savills has also appointed Susie Bell as Investor Relations Director, effective October 2025.
She joins from Vistry Group, where she was group investor relations director and has previously held roles at Barratt Developments and EMI Group.
Shaw, currently CFO and incoming CEO, says: “I very much look forward to welcoming Nick and Susie to Savills.
“Nick has an impressive and extensive track record in both the public and private real estate sector and will be a great partner for me and the broader management team as we drive the next stage of the Group’s development.”
