Propertymark to co-host All-Wales Agent Forum this November

Propertymark has confirmed it will once again co-host the All-Wales Agent Forum – a key date in the diary for Welsh property professionals – on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 at 2pm.

The virtual event, open to all agents across Wales, will bring together voices from government, the private sector and the voluntary sector to discuss the major policy and regulatory issues shaping the country’s property market.
Delegates will hear directly from Gareth Baglow of the Welsh Government, who will outline the commencement plans for renters’ rights and provide an update on the Rent Data Project, while equality and housing rights charity Tai Pawb will share fresh insights into tenants’ lived experiences and renters’ rights.

David d’Orton-Gibson will tackle one of the industry’s most persistent challenges – damp and mould – with practical advice for agents and landlords, while Tim Thomas, Policy and Campaigns Officer at Propertymark, will cover wider industry developments and emerging policy themes.

BUILDING SAFETY REGULATIONS

Also on the agenda, Sarah Cullen from the Welsh Government’s Building Safety Team will brief agents on the latest building safety regulations, before a panel discussion marking the 10th anniversary of Rent Smart Wales asks the question: What next for the scheme that continues to shape the private rental sector?

The forum will be interactive, with attendees encouraged to submit questions in advance for live discussion by the panel.

Tim Thomas says: “It is a pleasure for Propertymark to continue to co-host the All-Wales Agent Forum and to work alongside Rent Smart Wales and the Welsh Government.

“These forums are an important opportunity for agents to connect with policymakers and get the guidance they need to navigate change.”

Registration for the All-Wales Agent Forum is open now via Propertymark, with places free to all agents operating in Wales.
