Propertymark has unveiled two key breakout sessions for its flagship conference as agents brace for regulatory change and ongoing market friction.
Taking place at ExCeL London on 12 June, Propertymark One 2026 – delivered in partnership with Rightmove – will focus on practical strategies to help agents navigate the shifting landscape.
A central theme will be the Renters’ Rights Act, with a dedicated lettings session exploring how agents can move beyond compliance and adapt their businesses to the new regime.
Titled “Renters’ Rights Act: How We Not Only Survived – But Thrived”, the session will bring together senior voices from across the sector, including Timothy Douglas, Megan Eighteen, Valerie Bannister and Lesley Horton.
COMPLIANCE GUIDANCE
The panel will examine how the legislation is playing out in practice, offering agents guidance on compliance while highlighting opportunities to strengthen operations under the new framework.
On the sales side, attention will turn to transaction delays – a persistent issue across the market. The session “From Offer to Completion… Faster” will analyse the root causes of slow deals and explore how improved communication and upfront information can accelerate timelines.
Chaired by Clare Yates, the panel features Ian Harris, Samantha Burrows, HM Land Registry representative Callum Moffat, and James Munro.
The discussion will focus on identifying bottlenecks, challenging industry assumptions and delivering practical steps agents can implement immediately to improve completion speeds.
CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

Jason Lee, Head of Commercial at Propertymark, says: “These breakout sessions perfectly reflect the challenges and opportunities agents face today. With expert speakers and practical, actionable advice, delegates will leave with clear strategies they can apply immediately, whether in lettings, sales, or navigating legislative changes.”
With a broader programme of expert-led sessions and networking opportunities, Propertymark One 2026 is positioned as a key touchpoint for agents looking to adapt to a more complex and regulated operating environment.
