With the Renters’ Rights Bill returning to Parliament for further debate this Wednesday (22 October), Propertymark has launched a free nationwide roadshow to help letting agents and landlords prepare for the biggest shake-up of the private rented sector in a generation.
The professional body is urging agents to act now, warning that the direction of reform is clear even if the final legislative timetable remains uncertain.
The Bill, which is expected to overhaul tenancy law and strengthen tenant protections, will have far-reaching implications for agents, landlords and property managers across England.
The Renters’ Rights Bill Roadshow will run throughout November and early December, with free, in-person sessions in Birmingham, London, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle and Leeds.

Each event will include expert briefings, panel discussions and Q&A sessions exploring key aspects of the proposed legislation, including:
- The end of Section 21 “no-fault” evictions and introduction of new possession grounds
- The move to periodic tenancies and revised notice periods
