Property Inspect plugs SFG20 into live building management

Property Inspect has launched a new integration with SFG20, bringing the UK’s best-known planned and preventative maintenance standards directly into day-to-day building operations.

The digital inspection and compliance platform, used across housing, facilities management and the public sector, says the move allows building owners and FM teams to apply SFG20 guidance in real time, rather than relying on static manuals or disconnected systems.
SFG20 is widely used across healthcare, education, social housing, local authorities and commercial property to define what maintenance should be carried out and when.

The new integration means its schedules, task lists and libraries now sync directly into Property Inspect’s inspection, compliance and reporting workflows.

MAINTENANCE TRACKER

That allows teams to plan, assign and track maintenance across individual buildings and portfolios, while automatically staying aligned with the latest version of SFG20 as standards are updated.

By embedding SFG20 into live workflows, organisations can tailor maintenance schedules to specific assets and building types, capture evidence on site, assign actions and generate audit-ready reports, all within a single platform.

DELIVERING STANDARDS

Steve Rad (main picture, inset), Chief Executive of Property Inspect, says: “Planned maintenance only works when standards are applied consistently on the ground. SFG20 defines what good looks like across the built environment.

“Property Inspect ensures those standards are delivered, evidenced and managed at building level.”

The partnership also sees Property Inspect join SFG20’s Digital Partners Programme, which brings together technology providers that help organisations apply maintenance standards more effectively across complex and regulated estates.

The integration is available immediately to Property Inspect customers with an active SFG20 subscription.
