A new study reveals that Liverpool’s Anfield is the best-rated stadium in the Premier League, with nearly 50,000 reviews on Google and a 4.7-star rating on average.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is second, while Nottingham Forest’s City Ground is third.
Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium is bottom, with just 63% of reviews awarding it five stars.
Sports betting comparison site, Compare.bet, analysed the Google reviews of each Premier League team’s home stadium.
AMAZING, FANTASTIC, SUPERB
They collected each one’s average star rating, total number of reviews and percentage of reviews that contain a positive keyword, such as ‘amazing’, ‘fantastic’ and ‘superb’.
The ranking is based on the percentage of five-star reviews that each stadium has received out of the total number of reviews.
LEAGUE LEADERS
Home to Liverpool FC, Anfield takes the crown as the best-rated stadium in the Premier League, with a Google star rating of 4.7 from 40,930 reviews in total. Just over 87% of the stadium’s reviews are five stars and 35% contain a positive keyword.
In second place is Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a 4.7 star rating and 21,623 reviews in total where 84% give the stadium five stars and 36% contain a positive keyword.
Nottingham Forest’s City Ground and Manchester United’s Old Trafford are the third-best-rated Premier League stadiums. The City Ground has 4.7 stars on Google and a total of 1,646 reviews, with 81% being five-star reviews and 14% containing positive keywords.

Old Trafford has 4.6 stars on Google and 49,641 reviews in total, with 81% giving the stadium five stars and 28% with written reviews that contain positive descriptors.
Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium ranks fourth, with an average of 4.6 star rating out of 30,384 Google reviews in total, of which 79% are five star and 28% include a complimentary keyword.
In fifth place is Newcastle United’s home, St. James’ Park, which has a star rating of 4.6 and 11,037 reviews in total. Of this, 78% of the reviews award the stadium with five stars and 26% contain positive keywords.
TOP SIX
Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium takes the sixth spot, with an average star rating of 4.6 out of 27,689 reviews overall, of which 77% are five star and 32% include positive descriptors.
Next is Molineux Stadium, home to the Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) and Stamford Bridge, home to Chelsea in joint seventh place, where both stadiums are rated 4.6 stars. Molineux Stadium has 6,854 reviews in total, of which 76% are five star and 17% contain positive keywords.
Stamford Bridge has 22,728 reviews in total, with 76% being five star and 21% including complimentary words.
Aston Villa’s Villa Park is eighth on the list, with a Google star rating of 4.5 out of 8,783 reviews in total. Just over 75% of these reviews are five star and 26% contain positive keywords.
Leicester City’s King Power Stadium is in ninth place, with 4.6 stars on average and 7,057 reviews in total, of which 74% are five star reviews and 18% include positive descriptors.
LAST PLACE
Completing the ranking is Goodison Park, which is home to Everton. The stadium has 4.4 stars on Google and a total of 6,708 reviews, with 73% awarding it five stars and 18% including complimentary keywords.
