Muuvo to power new utility platform for Tenant Shop agents and customers

In a major shake-up of the tenancy services sector, Tenant Shop’s national network of letting agents is being onboarded onto Muuvo, the multi-award-winning utility management platform founded by Jamie Parks – the original creator of Tenant Shop back in 2008.

The partnership marks a significant reunion between Parks and hundreds of letting agents who have worked with Tenant Shop for years.
The rollout will see Tenant Shop’s network transition to Muuvo’s next-generation automation system, designed to streamline post-tenancy workflows across utilities, council tax and broadband.

With Muuvo now powering Tenant Shop’s operations, the platform’s reach will extend to more than 700 letting agents, with projections to exceed 1,000 by January 2026.

FULL-CIRCLE MOMENT

The move represents one of the most substantial technology integrations in the change-of-tenancy space to date.

Following his exit from Tenant Shop five years ago, Parks launched Muuvo to “offer intelligent, software-first utility registration”.

He says: “It’s a full-circle moment – to be reconnecting with agents that, in many cases, I’ve known for years, and to be doing so with the latest technology that genuinely transforms how they handle council tax, water, broadband, and energy at the point of move.”

While Muuvo will provide the software and data infrastructure, Tenant Shop will continue to operate its award-winning contact centre, managing direct sales of broadband, insurance, energy, and ancillary services.

Parks adds: “Tenant Shop’s agent base will now benefit from our automation, compliance framework and software user experience.

“Muuvo delivers the most efficient utility registration process in the market, and Tenant Shop will continue to focus on what they do best: generating value through their tenant services sales engine.”
