“Demystifying the mortgage process and guiding people through the world of mortgages and property is a something that I’m really passionate about and being part of projects like this is a brilliant way to do just this.
“The more we can do to financially educate people about the world of personal finance so that they feel empowered the better! It is important that we as an industry work together to help people to get excited when applying for mortgage, instead of feeling scared and out of control.”

Stuart Cheetham, CEO of MPowered Mortgages, adds: “We are thrilled to be working with Martyn on this new show aimed at educating borrowers on the ins and outs of mortgages in an easy to understand way.
“It’s important, as lenders, we equip borrowers with the knowledge then need to support them with their mortgage and property journeys.
“We have an incredible guest line up who have strong brand recognition in the world of personal finance as well as an extensive following and influence on social media.”
MORTGAGE JOURNEY
And he adds: “Whilst we are a broker only lender, it is crucial we continue to engage consumers in our brand with the end goal being that they think of MPowered when they embark on their mortgage journey.
“Our brand awareness is growing day-by-day in the consumer space but there is always more we can do and we will continue to find new and innovative ways to engage consumers. This will in turn support brokers who are recommending MPowered’s mortgages.”
The launch of “On the house” follows the launch of The Rate Stuff, a new MPowered video series aimed at supporting brokers navigate the market.
Last year, MPowered Mortgages launched a series of adverts targeting consumers travelling on the London underground with a strapline which said: “Say hi to the fastest lender in the UK.”
