Movera, the powerhouse home-moving group behind ONP Solicitors, has unveiled a new flexible training academy – marking a major step forward in its mission to develop the next generation of conveyancing professionals across the UK.
The launch follows the successful completion of the academy’s first intake and builds on Movera’s well-established training foundations.
The new model offers adaptable, hybrid learning pathways to suit individuals at different stages of their legal careers, with options for classroom-based, blended, or fully remote learning.
Movera’s training academy initiative began two years ago, originally designed to equip individuals with no previous experience to handle standard conveyancing transactions.
RELIABLE PIPELINE
The results were impressive: the programme created a reliable pipeline of new talent and laid the groundwork for further innovation.
In response to increasing demand for greater flexibility, Movera piloted additional routes, including a five-week ‘Property Lawyer Academy’ for those with partial experience and a remote learning option for more seasoned professionals.
These successful pilots have now been unified into a single, flexible academy model that integrates multiple formats and caters to a broad spectrum of learners.
Amanda Wright (main picture), Training Specialist at Movera, says: “Our flexible academy is a game-changer. We’ve listened to what learners and the industry need: tailored pathways, digital-first delivery, and options that fit different lifestyles.
“The overwhelmingly positive feedback from our first intake shows we’re on the right path.”
NEXT GENERATION
The first cohort under the new system graduated this spring, with strong levels of engagement and early signs of success as learners transitioned into their roles.
Movera is now gearing up for its next wave of trainees, as it continues to invest in creating a resilient, highly skilled legal workforce prepared for the evolving demands of the property industry.
