Movera bolsters leadership with new HR hires to support continued growth

Movera, the leading home moving services brand, has strengthened its senior people team with two key appointments as part of its ongoing expansion.

Nichola Dixon (main picture, right) joins as Head of Business Partnering (People & Culture) and Neil Martin (main picture, left) as Head of Talent, both reporting to Karen Buckley, Chief People Officer at Movera.
The appointments form part of the company’s wider strategy to scale its workforce and embed a high-performance culture across its growing network.

Dixon brings more than 18 years of HR experience across the entertainment and technology sectors. She was previously Senior People Business Partner at PlatformX Communications, where she led a major organisational transformation. At Movera, she will oversee the People Operations and Business Partnering teams.

PEOPLE CULTURE

She says: “Our job is to build the conditions for people to thrive. That means creating structures and practices that drive growth, performance and inclusion. When we get that right, we create the kind of culture people want to be part of long term.”

Martin joins with two decades of experience in talent acquisition, including senior roles in academic and HR technology organisations.

Most recently, he was Talent Acquisition Project Manager at Deel, the global HR platform. At Movera, he will lead the company’s recruitment strategy.

He says: “We want to attract an inspired workforce that stays and excels. That means having the right tools, technology and experience to make recruitment engaging for candidates and meaningful for the business.”

She says: “Movera is focused on combining talent from inside and outside the industry.

“Nichola and Neil bring deep expertise in people, culture and talent, helping us to build an empowered, high-performing team as we continue to grow.”

Movera has expanded rapidly in recent years, investing heavily in digital infrastructure and workforce development as it modernises the home moving process.
