Well known property industry figure Michael Day’s original Christmas single is racing up the charts with all monies raised going to two charities – Diabetes UK and The Propertymark Trust.
The original song – entitled Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year – was recorded at Long Dog studios and produced by Piers Nolan.
All monies raised (after Bandcamp platform costs) will be shared equally between Diabetes UK and The Propertymark Trust.
And to support the song, a wonderful AI animated video has been created by Toby Martin which can be can found on You Tube at HERE.
LIP-SMACKINGLY GOOD
As we enter December, Day says: “I guarantee the song title will be on everyone’s lips over the next few weeks!”
“Many people know that I enjoy writing and performing and I have a number of my original songs recorded and available across the twenty three streaming channels including Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Deezer, TikTok, Instagram, You Tube and others.”
FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS
My Christmas song has a message of remembering those that may need help and sharing some joy and kindness at this important time of year.”
Day says: “We live in a world where people often think of music as free to access and this song can be listened to on that basis.
“However, I really hope that people will not only enjoy the song and the video but, more importantly, will make a donation and download. The minimum is £2 but there is no maximum! – I also hope that they will share and encourage family, friends and work colleagues to do likewise.”
WORTHY CAUSES
And he adds: “Both charities are close to me heart – I have been a type one diabetic for over 35 years (one in fifteen people in the UK have diabetes) and this undoubtedly contributed to me requiring a triple heart by-pass four years ago.
“Like Toby, I am also a Director and Trustee at The Propertymark Trust which supports members of Propertymark, their families and employees with hardship grants, educational grants and bursaries.”
