LSL expands franchise network with Meyers acquisition

LSL Property Services has strengthened its franchised estate agency division with the acquisition of Meyers Franchising Limited and adding further scale to its growing network.

The deal will see 10 franchise partners and six branches join LSL Estate Agency Franchising, with the business confirming the acquisition is expected to be earnings accretive in 2026.
The move marks another step in LSL’s expansion strategy within the franchise sector, as larger groups continue to consolidate regional brands with strong local market share.

Founded in 2011, Meyers Estate Agents has built a significant presence across Dorset and the South Coast, operating a franchise model focused on local expertise supported by central systems and branding.

KEY MARKETS

The network spans key markets including Christchurch, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Poundbury, Sherborne and Shaftesbury, with the brand establishing itself as a leading sales agent across parts of the region.

The acquisition is also expected to accelerate the development of lettings within the Meyers network, an area where LSL brings established capability and infrastructure.

The deal reflects a wider trend of franchise growth across the agency sector, with scalable models offering a route to expansion while maintaining localised service delivery – particularly as operational costs and regulatory pressures continue to rise.

Integration of the Meyers business into LSL Estate Agency Franchising will begin from 1 April, with the group confirming a business-as-usual approach for existing customers and franchise partners.
