Property services group LRG has promoted Robert Poole to Managing Director – Block Management as the firm expands its national block and estate management operations.
In his new role, Poole (main picture, inset) will oversee the strategic direction and performance of block management across the group, reflecting the growing importance of the sector within LRG’s wider property services offering.
The appointment comes as LRG continues to increase its presence in block and estate management through its specialist brand Glide Property Management, with the company managing a broad range of developments including new-build schemes, regeneration sites and complex multi-block estates.
Poole joined Glide Property Management in 2022 as Director of Block Management, where he led the delivery of block and estate management services while supporting the brand’s national expansion.
CAREER HISTORY
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the property sector and has held senior leadership roles across the leasehold management industry, including leading large corporate property businesses and running his own company.
His experience spans a range of property types, from listed and heritage buildings to modern high-rise developments.
Poole holds an MSc in Property Management & Investment and is a Member of The Property Institute (MTPI). He also regularly contributes industry insight on compliance, technology and the impact of regulation on block management.
VALUE FOR MONEY
He says: “I am truly honoured to take on this enhanced leadership role at a time when block management is becoming more complex and demanding. Throughout my career, I have focused on building teams and services that prioritise transparency, value for money and professional excellence.
“At Glide and within LRG, we have a real opportunity to reshape how block and estate management is delivered nationally, ensuring that clients and residents receive a service they can trust and that supports long-term stewardship of their buildings.”
