The London Home Show will return to Westminster later this month, bringing together housing providers, brokers and legal experts to help first-time buyers navigate the path onto the property ladder.
The event, held at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre on Saturday 18 April, is expected to attract thousands of aspiring homeowners from across the capital.
Organised by Share to Buy Live and supported by the Mayor of London, the show has welcomed more than 85,000 visitors since launching in 2013, offering guidance on affordable homeownership options.
Over 35 exhibitors will attend this year’s event, including housing associations, developers and mortgage providers, showcasing schemes such as Shared Ownership, London Living Rent, Rent to Buy and Discount Market Sale.
ONE-TO-ONE ADVICE
Visitors will be able to explore available homes, speak directly with providers and access one-to-one advice from mortgage brokers and legal professionals, with free mortgage appointments available on the day.
A programme of live sessions will run throughout the event, covering topics including the buying process, mortgage options and what happens after purchasing a home. A live recording of the Let’s Buy a Home podcast will also take place, featuring expert discussion on routes into homeownership.
New for 2026 is an ‘Inspiration Space’, designed to give buyers ideas on how to furnish and style their future homes, alongside regional showcases of available properties.
The event comes at a time when affordability pressures and complex buying processes continue to act as barriers for first-time buyers, increasing demand for clearer guidance and support.
SIMPLIFYING HOMEBUYING

Jade Turnstill, head of brand and content at Share to Buy, said: “Buying a home can feel incredibly complex, particularly for first time buyers who are trying to navigate mortgages, legal processes and different homeownership schemes all at once.
“The London Home Show is designed to simplify that journey. By bringing together housing providers, financial experts and legal professionals under one roof, we’re able to give buyers clear, practical guidance on the steps involved – as well as the confidence to explore options that could help them get onto the property ladder.”
