London Home Show returns to help first-time buyers

The UK’s biggest event for first-time buyers is set to return this autumn with the London Home Show taking place at the QEII Centre in Westminster on Saturday 27 September 2025.

The free-to-attend event – now hosted under Share to Buy Live, the new events platform from affordable homeownership portal Share to Buy – has welcomed more than 83,000 visitors since launching in 2013.
Over 35 exhibitors will be on hand, including leading housing associations, homebuilders, mortgage brokers, and legal specialists.

Attendees will be able to explore hundreds of developments across London and the Home Counties, access exclusive deals and event-only incentives, and even book free mortgage appointments on the day.

EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS

This year’s sponsors include Barratt London, Hyde New Homes, L&Q, Legal & General Affordable Homes, SO Resi, Peabody, Sovereign Network Group, and mortgage broker Tembo.

A full programme of live educational sessions will run throughout the day, covering homeownership schemes, financial planning, and legal guidance. Popular highlights such as the Shared Ownership Q&As and affordability workshops will be hosted by brokers including Censeo Financial, Just Mortgages, and Mortgage Advice Bureau.

FIRST-TIME BUYER HELP

Jade Turnstill of Share to Buy says: “With mortgage rates, rent levels and the cost of living still squeezing budgets, many first-time buyers feel like owning a home is out of reach.

“But affordable schemes like Shared Ownership and Deposit Unlock can make a real difference – and the London Home Show is designed to help people understand how those options could work for them.

“There’s so much misinformation out there, and we know from our audience that buyers are calling for clear, practical guidance. That’s what this event delivers: expert advice, real examples, and direct access to the people who can help.”

The London Home Show also forms part of Shared Ownership Week, an annual campaign championing the scheme’s role in helping more buyers onto the ladder.

Entry is ticket-only. Free places can be reserved in advance at: https://live.sharetobuy.com/events/london-home-show-autumn-2025/
