Lomond snaps up Liverpool agent Homesure in North West push

Lomond has strengthened its footprint in the North West after acquiring Liverpool-based lettings and estate agency Homesure in its latest move to expand across the UK’s private rental sector.

Homesure operates from three Liverpool locations and employs a team of around 30 staff managing more than 1,700 properties across the city and surrounding areas. The deal gives Lomond a stronger presence in one of the UK’s fastest-growing regional rental markets.
Founded in 2007 by Steven Kenny, Homesure has grown steadily under the leadership of Kenny, Nick Stott and Mark Loughnane.

Since 2016 the firm has completed five acquisitions while building a reputation locally for client service and long-term landlord relationships.

STRONG RENTAL DEMAND

The agency also supports overseas investors targeting Liverpool’s property market, which continues to attract attention due to strong rental demand and the city’s links to nearby economic hubs including Manchester and Cheshire.

Under the deal, Homesure will continue to operate under its existing brand and leadership team, becoming Lomond’s Liverpool regional hub.

Nick Stott and Mark Loughnane will remain in place alongside the wider staff, while oversight will sit with Paul Clarke, Lomond’s Chief Revenue Officer for the Midlands and North West.

“Their consistent growth and client-first approach make them an excellent fit for the Group, and we’re pleased to support the team as they continue to build on the solid foundations already in place.”
