Lomond has appointed James Cosser-Hindle as group people director as the agency network looks to strengthen its organisational structure during a period of rapid expansion.
The hire comes as one of the UK’s largest lettings and estate agency groups continues to scale through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth.
Cosser-Hindle (main picture, inset) will work closely with senior leadership to develop the firm’s people strategy, with a focus on building capacity across the business to support its next phase of growth.
His remit includes strengthening leadership capability, embedding a high-performance culture and ensuring the group can attract and retain talent in an increasingly competitive market.
PEOPLE STRATEGY
He joins with more than 15 years’ experience across sectors including financial services, health tech, media and retail, having held roles at organisations such as WPP, John Lewis & Partners, Sainsbury’s and HeliosX.
The appointment reflects a broader trend across the agency sector, where scaling networks are investing more heavily in centralised people strategies to support integration and long-term performance.

Clare Wakeford, chief people officer at Lomond, says: “It’s great to welcome James to the team and continue to build on our ambitions here at Lomond.
“It’s an exciting time for the company. As we keep growing, we need to ensure that our people strategy is at the heart of this, and James is the right person to join us on this journey.”
James Cosser-Hindle, group people director at Lomond, adds: “Lomond is one of the UK’s most ambitious and fast-growing property groups. I’m a people first leader, and what stands out most to me is that Lomond genuinely values its people, ensuring they are at the forefront of every decision.
“I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in.”
