Leading training body launches new group for those in senior roles to develop their skills

Property Academy has launched a brand new group, aimed at those in senior positions like managers and heads of department.

The Key Executives Group will bridge the gap between the existing Future Leaders and Leadership Groups, allowing those who sit in the middle to develop their skills and enhance their business understanding.

The new group will help those in senior roles share experiences of achieving alignment across different disciplines in a business, learn from other members’ solutions when juggling strategic and immediate objectives, and develop communication skills to relay realistic goals and delivery dates, both up and down the ladder.

Danielle Nash, Property AcademyDanielle Nash, Property AcademyManaging Director at Property Academy, Danielle Nash, says: “Our Key Executives Group is for those in senior roles who haven’t made time for their own personal development.

“There are just six meetings a year, as we understand many of these people have significant time commitments already, so each meeting will deliver invaluable wisdom and experience in business to the attendees.

“The new group is also perfect for those in an organisation ready for the next step in their career. It acts as a stepping stone between our Future Leaders and Leadership groups, effectively acting as a ‘graduation’ for those who have been on a long-term learning journey and are now ready to progress to the next level.

“Being in these kind of positions can bring a wealth of challenges, as it is a constant balance between pleasing stakeholders and ensuring your team stay happy and motivated, especially as you are not in full control of decision making.

“There are also time pressures and restraints, as you want to spend more time on strategy and business development, but are still responsible for day-to-day operations. These new sessions are designed to help you combat these issues and discuss them with people who are going through the same things.”

The Key Executive Group is set to meet six times a year, commencing Thursday 6th June, with five meetings at members’ places of work. At three sessions, there will be a half-day workshop with one of Property Academy’s expert speakers. This will allow members to explore each other’s business practices and operations, whilst developing valuable skills.

The first session will feature a talk from Grant Leboff, one of the UK’s leading sales and marketing experts. A thought leader in his field, Grant looks to address the huge changes in technology that are currently taking place, and provides insights into the techniques and conventions that actually drive results. While Grant has provided sessions for Property Academy’s Future Leaders previously, his next talk will include brand-new content, tailored to Key Executives.

Group members will also be invited to Property Academy’s exclusive, annual All Members’ event, which brings together people from all groups for an invaluable networking and training opportunity.
