Lanpro boosts its North West presence as it appoints Diane Ellis as regional director in Manchester

Lanpro has appointed Diane Ellis as a Regional Director to lead its Manchester office.

The multi-disciplinary consultancy offers planning, EIA, masterplanning, urban design, GIS, visualisation, historic environment, landscape architecture, ecology and arboriculture consultancy services, nationwide from seven offices.
In her role at Lanpro, Ellis will focus on growing the Manchester team, which has seen a significant recent increase in client work across a range of sectors spanning the North West.

Ellis joins from developer Legacie, where she was Head of Planning. She has previously also worked for Zerum, WYG Group, Deloitte, Broadway Malyan and RPS. She continues in her advisory role as a panel member of the RIBA’s Places Matter expert design review panel for the North West.

REGENERATION SCHEMES

Ellis has over 25 years of planning experience and specialises in complex regeneration schemes, heritage projects and tall buildings. Previous projects include St Michael’s in Manchester, Heaps Mill in Liverpool and the Municipal Building in Liverpool.

Her experience stretches across many sectors including residential, office, hotels, student accommodation, retail, leisure, health and education.

Ellis is also experienced in managing environmental impact assessments (EIA), being a Practitioner Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and is an affiliate of the Institute of Historic Buildings and Conservation (IHBC).
