LRG has promoted Ian Barnett (previously National Land Director) to Group Land and Development Director.
Barnett’s expanded role will include greater liaison with other parts of LRG including LRG Corporate Sales and B2R Division, Boyer and LRG New Homes.
His work on land agency and development consultancy spans the length and breadth of the country and his work with a wide variety of clients has been maintained for many years.
And Peter Kavanagh, Chairman of LRG, says Barnett (main picture) ‘is a great communicator with exceptional levels of honesty and integrity which enables him to build long term enduring relationships with landowners, clients and colleagues’.
GROUP-LEVEL ROLE
He adds: “Ian is a great ambassador for LRG and was responsible for restructuring our Land team to focus on larger strategic sites together with the geographic expansion of the team.
“These qualities have enabled us to grow our development consultancy services over the past 10 years with many of our landowners and developer clients utilising the additional services we provide in planning, New Homes, Shared Ownership, surveying, Business Rates and Build to Rent.
“The recent rebrand from Leaders Romans Group to LRG marks an important stage the Group’s growth – something that Ian has played an important role in achieving. And so I had no hesitation in recommending him for this new Group-level role.”
