iamproperty is introducing a new industry-wide awareness day that will formally recognise estate agents across the UK, securing an official entry in the UK National Awareness Days calendar from next year.
The inaugural National Estate Agent Day will take place on 26 February 2026 and will be marked annually thereafter.
The proptech group, which provides auction, sales progression and CRM technology to thousands of agents, has positioned the initiative as a sector-wide celebration designed to highlight the role agents play in keeping housing transactions moving.
It comes at a time of continued pressure on the industry, with falling instruction volumes, higher regulatory costs and market uncertainty reshaping the landscape for independent and corporate firms alike.
PROMOTING AGENT ENGAGEMENT
The launch adds a new fixture to the property calendar and is expected to form part of a wider marketing campaign and series of industry events. The company said the date would sit alongside other professional observances intended to acknowledge the contribution of key business sectors.
The move will see iamproperty use February – traditionally one of the quieter months in the housing cycle – to promote agent engagement and customer-focused initiatives, ahead of the spring sales market.
MONTH OF LOVE
Ben Ridgway (main picture, inset), Co-founder at iamproperty, says: “We thought it was about time agents got the recognition they deserve, so from 2026 they have a day of celebration just for them.

“We created this date to bring a bit of joy to the industry and to find more ways to celebrate Estate Agents across the UK working hard to deliver results for their clients, through every challenge and opportunity the market has to offer right now and every year.”
Michele Gettins, CMO at iamproperty, adds: “February will see us launch a very fun campaign for agents and celebrate our Partner Agents in what is already coined the ‘month of love’.
“We hope everyone gets involved to mark the date and celebrate their teams.”
