Hunters expands in London with Highbury & Islington launch

Hunters Estate Agents has expanded its presence in North London with the opening of a new Highbury & Islington office, strengthening the group’s footprint in one of the capital’s most active housing markets.

The branch is led by franchise owner Sam Sharif and becomes his third Hunters office, alongside existing locations in Stoke Newington and West Hampstead.
The launch follows the acquisition of local firm M&M Property, which has now been fully rebranded under the Hunters name.

The move forms part of a wider strategy to grow the brand’s coverage across North and Northwest London, with the group targeting areas where strong buyer and tenant demand is supported by good transport links and a mix of period and modern housing stock.

NATURAL NEXT STEP

Highbury & Islington was identified as a natural next step due to its proximity to the group’s existing branches and its reputation as a consistently popular market with both owner-occupiers and renters.

Reuben John, Sales Director at Hunters Highbury & Islington, says: “Our continued expansion has been driven by strong performance in both Stoke Newington and West Hampstead, alongside growing demand for a more proactive, service-led approach to estate agency in London.

“We’ve built trusted relationships within our communities, and much of our growth has come through repeat business and referrals.

“Expanding further allows us to strengthen our local presence, support more clients, and continue delivering the hands-on, expert advice that sets us apart.”

STRATEGIC SCALE

He added that acquiring M&M Property provided a platform for growth in the area. “

M&M Property had built a strong local reputation and shared the same values we prioritise, such as integrity, personal service and deep community knowledge, which made it a natural fit.

“The transition to rebrand the business as Hunters hasn’t always been easy, but by working closely with the existing team and clients, we’ve ensured continuity and clear communication.”
