Hunters Estate Agency: Keeping Nikki’s legacy alive through community support

Hunters Estate Agency has reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to community giving through The Nikki Waterhouse Trust, a charity established in memory of much-loved colleague Nikki Waterhouse, who tragically passed away in 2013.

Formed in 2015, the Trust continues Nikki’s legacy by providing financial and material assistance to children and families in need across the UK — quietly making a difference where it’s needed most.
Since its creation, the Trust has supported a wide range of causes, from hospices to grassroots community projects.

Many other individuals and local causes have also benefitted, ensuring every donation delivers tangible, lasting impact.

The highlight each year is the Hunters Golf Day at Easingwold Golf Club – a fixture that combines sport, generosity and community spirit.

This summer’s event raised around £13,000, adding to the hundreds of thousands generated for good causes since the Trust began.

HUMBLING SUPPORT

Rob Smith, Group Managing Director of Hunters, says the support the charity receives each year is humbling.

And he adds: “Everyone enjoyed the day, but we couldn’t contribute so much without the generosity of our suppliers, staff and franchisees who support us year after year. We are immensely grateful.”

John Waterhouse, Hunters Auction Franchisee and Nikki’s father, adds: “Over the last 12 months we have made donations to many charities and individuals, and we are so proud of the help we’ve provided, especially in such difficult times.

“The Trust ensures Nikki’s legacy continues — and we’re thankful to everyone who plays a part in making that happen.”

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

More than a decade on, The Nikki Waterhouse Trust continues to channel Nikki’s warmth, compassion and love for children into practical support for those who need it most.

As Hunters grows, so too does its mission to give back. The Trust welcomes applications for support from across the UK.
