Some of the biggest names in retail and property are preparing to descend on Old Billingsgate Market in London later this month as GRO Retail’s Autumn Event shapes up to be the UK’s largest retail property dealmaking gathering.
Taking place on 30 September and 1 October, the two-day event will welcome more than 2,000 decision-makers from the worlds of retail, grocery, leisure, hospitality, franchising and property.
The latest additions to the speaker line-up include Abbie Loftus, Partner & Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager at John Lewis; Aaron Britton, Franchise Development Manager at NatWest; Tim Vallance, Head of UK Retail and Leisure at JLL; Stephen Toal, UK Head of Retail and Leisure Insights at Savills; and James Dorling, Property Director at Matalan.
They join confirmed speakers Doug Galbraith, Head of Property at Pandora; Amir Mashkoor, Director at Miniso; Brett Parker, Property Director at Gail’s Bakery; and representatives from SaveTheHighStreet.org and the British Franchise Association.
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY

Rebecca Sawyer, Managing Director of GRO Retail, says: “This is a great opportunity to make deals that are vital to the growth of businesses and to get some key insight from experts in the field.
“Our speakers are from leading businesses in property, retail, legal services, franchising and everything in between. As well as fantastic speakers, we have key decision-makers from every sector and a meetings concierge service to ensure visitors have the time and space to meet with their top targets without wasting a minute.”
Alongside the programme, attendees will have the chance to meet with representatives from brands such as Hugo Boss, Sephora UK, Aesop, Mango, The LEGO Group and Tapestry, the group behind Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman.
With a curated schedule of business meetings, networking opportunities and content sessions, the event is pitched as a one-stop shop for brands hunting for new locations, landlords looking to fill space, or developers seeking tenants.
