Hamptons inspires next generation of property professionals

Hamptons showcased its commitment to attracting and nurturing talent at the London Job Show – the capital’s largest careers event – held at Westfield, Shepherd’s Bush on 17–18 October.

The event drew between 10,000 and 20,000 visitors each day and featured hundreds of employers offering opportunities across all career stages, from apprenticeships and graduate schemes to senior leadership roles.
Hamptons used the show to highlight the diversity of roles within the property industry and to unveil its new recruitment campaign, designed to inspire people to build long-term careers in the sector.

The company’s stand drew strong interest throughout the two days, staffed by employees from across sales, lettings, build-to-rent, new homes and head office teams, all on hand to discuss current vacancies and career development pathways.

AGENCY OPPORTUNITIES

Hamptons also led two seminar sessions, with Executive Head of Sales Mary Beeton speaking on Friday, followed by Emma Johnson, Associate Director in Tunbridge Wells Lettings, on Saturday. Both speakers explored the opportunities within estate agency, sharing insights on professional growth and the skills needed to succeed.

Mary Beeton says: “Attending the London Job Show was a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of Hamptons as one of the leading employers in the property sector.

“It allowed us to showcase our inclusive culture, expert teams, and the clear progression pathways we offer, and we couldn’t be happier with the high levels of interest and positive feedback we received from visitors.

“With many direct applicant registrations already underway, Hamptons continues to position itself as an employer of choice in the industry and we are proud to have connected with so many talented individuals who share our passion for property.”

ATTRACTING TOP TALENT

Lisa Wooldridge, HR Director at Hamptons, adds: “We recognise that attracting top talent requires fresh thinking and a proactive approach.

“That’s why we took our recent recruitment campaign directly to those exploring new career opportunities – to showcase our meaningful career pathways and to demonstrate that we really care about creating a culture where people can thrive.”
