Glide Property Management has strengthened its national team with the appointment of Matthew Strong as Senior Technical Property Manager.
Strong (main picture), one of the block management sector’s most experienced figures, joins after more than two decades leading Bournemouth-based Rebbeck Brothers.
A long-standing Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), he brings deep technical expertise and extensive experience managing complex residential portfolios.
His appointment highlights Glide’s focus on professional standards, technical capability and long-term value for clients.
BEST PRACTICE
Strong’s arrival also supports the company’s wider strategy of investing in senior talent to guide best practice and mentor the next generation of property managers across its growing national operation.
Strong says” “Glide is a forward-thinking, multifaceted organisation with a fantastic team. After many years leading a firm, I was looking for an opportunity to use my experience to support others, share knowledge, and help shape best practice across a growing business.”
He adds: “Property management should always be about adding value, not just managing the process and I’m keen to help colleagues and clients achieve that. I also believe in integrity and accountability – doing the right thing for clients and being ready to put things right when we don’t. That’s the approach that builds trust and long-term success.”
NEXT GENERATION

Robert Poole, Director, Block Management at Glide, adds: “Matthew is highly respected across the industry, and his technical expertise, leadership experience, and commitment to professional development make him an outstanding addition to our senior team.
“His focus on mentoring the next generation of property managers and his dedication to doing things properly reflect exactly what Glide stands for.”
