Game-changing appointment at Lanpro

National consultancy Lanpro has appointed Faraz Baber to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer, marking a significant step in the company’s ongoing growth strategy.

Baber (main picture) joins with a strong track record across both public and private sectors, bringing the expertise and leadership to support Lanpro’s ambition to become the UK’s largest independent planning consultancy.
Already ranked among the UK’s top 10 fastest-growing planning firms, Lanpro aims to accelerate its expansion under Baber’s operational oversight.

In his new role, Baber will lead the company’s growth plans, develop internal talent, and strengthen its ability to deliver large-scale projects. He will report to the board, chaired by Executive Chairman Chris Leeming.

MULTI-DISCIPLINED

Lanpro is a privately-owned, multi-disciplinary consultancy operating nationwide, with offices in London and across the regions. Its services span planning, master planning, urban design, GIS, visualisation, historic environment, landscape architecture, ecology, and arboriculture – positioning it well to support the UK government’s growth agenda.

Baber’s career spans senior roles in both sectors, including at RPS (part of Tetra Tech), TOR, Business LDN, London Councils, the British Property Federation, and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He currently serves on the RICS Land & Natural Resources Board and the BPF Planning Policy Panel.
