Fine & Country Zimbabwe marks decade milestone

Fine & Country Zimbabwe is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of growth, resilience and market leadership in one of Southern Africa’s most challenging property environments.

Launched in 2015, the business has evolved from a new market entrant into a respected premium real estate brand, combining Fine & Country’s global standards with strong local expertise.
Over the past decade, the business has adapted its strategy in response to market volatility, developing more robust systems, governance and operating standards as it scaled.

And Karen Nyenga, CEO of Fine & Country Zimbabwe, reckons that the milestone reflects far more than longevity.

GENUINE MARKET TRUST

She says: “Reaching 10 years is a powerful statement of credibility, resilience and relevance.

“To survive and thrive through a decade of economic cycles, regulatory change and shifting client expectations in Zimbabwe shows the brand has earned genuine market trust.”

Nyenga says that the brand’s position has shifted decisively over time.

“The brand has moved from being unknown, to known, and now to being respected,” she adds. “Today, Fine & Country Zimbabwe is associated with professionalism, integrity, market expertise and results.”

Growth has been underpinned by continued expansion of transaction volumes and an exclusive property portfolio, alongside innovation in marketing and sales strategies. In 2024, the business introduced market-first campaigns for new developments, accelerating sales activity and broadening access to home ownership through more flexible payment structures.

TECH-LED MARKETING

The firm has also invested heavily in technology-led marketing, data-driven decision-making and specialist services for diaspora investors, strengthening its appeal to both local and international clients.

A key differentiator, Nyenga says, has been Fine & Country Zimbabwe’s focus on lifestyle-led storytelling rather than traditional property advertising.

“We position property as homes, investments and legacies, supported by aspirational branding and informed advice on pricing, risk and long-term value,” she says.

Nyenga credited clients, partners and agents for the company’s success, describing agents as “the heartbeat of the brand”.

Looking ahead, she says that the next phase will focus on strategic expansion, deeper market impact and stronger collaboration across the sector.

“The next decade is about legacy building and shaping the next generation of real estate professionals,” she adds.
