Fine & Country widens North West footprint with new licences

Fine & Country has expanded its North West network with the launch of two new licences covering Merseyside and North Cheshire and West Lancashire and Wigan.

The licences will be led by Dave Roberts, a well-known estate agent who has operated Belvoir branches in St Helens, Haydock and Wigan since 2008.
Both Belvoir and Fine & Country sit within The Property Franchise Group (TPFG), and the move marks a notable phase of strategic alignment between the two brands.

The new Fine & Country operation began trading on 1 November 2025 from TPFG’s newly relocated St Helens office.

WELL ESTABLISHED

Roberts’ business is already well established, completing more than 350 transactions last year and securing Belvoir’s Sales Office of the Year Award for five consecutive years. His three offices employ eight sales professionals and offer in-house mortgage advice within a long-standing family-run structure.

The new Fine & Country territories span Liverpool, Warrington, St Helens, Wigan and rural areas of West Lancashire and North Cheshire – a region home to more than 1.5 million people and around 750,000 homes.

According to Roberts, local house prices have risen 4.7% over the past 12 months, outperforming the wider North West. While the premium segment has been relatively stable, he sees clear headroom for growth, with stock ranging from waterfront apartments to executive homes and rural properties.

PREMIUM MARKETS

Roberts says: “We’ve been looking for the right way to expand into the premium market, and Fine & Country provides that opportunity. We already have a successful, award-winning business, but the Fine & Country proposition allows us to reach new audiences and deliver an enhanced service for clients in the upper quartile of the market.

“The local market has seen a 4.7% rise in property prices over the past 12 months, which is healthy compared to the wider North West region.

“While the premium end of the market has been relatively stable, we see real potential for growth. The region offers everything from waterfront city apartments and executive residences to beautiful country homes, and the Fine & Country brand is ideally placed to showcase these properties to local and international buyers.”

LOCAL EXPERTISE

And he adds:  “We’re truly excited to combine our established core business, which already benefits from deep local expertise and strong client relationships, with Fine & Country’s international reach and award-winning marketing.

“Together, this creates a unique synergy that will allow us to deliver outstanding results and set new standards in the premium property market.”

Jonathan Handford, Interim Managing Director of Fine & Country, says: “Dave and his team have built one of the most successful sales operations in the Belvoir network, and their professionalism, experience, and local knowledge make them the perfect partners to introduce Fine & Country across Merseyside, North Cheshire, West Lancs and Wigan.

“With their proven track record and commitment to excellence, I’m confident they will establish Fine & Country as the leading premium agency in the region.”
