Fine & Country has unveiled plans to accelerate its international expansion as it looks to build on 25 years of growth in the UK’s premium residential property market.
The estate agency brand has steadily grown its presence at home and abroad, establishing itself as a leading name in high-end property supported by a distinctive marketing approach. It is now aiming to replicate that UK success on a wider global scale as part of its long-term growth strategy.
To support this ambition, Fine & Country has retained Jonathan Handford as a consultant with responsibility for driving international expansion.
Handford stepped in as Interim Managing Director during Nicky Stevenson’s maternity leave and will now focus on spearheading growth across key global territories.
INTERNATIONAL STRUCTURE
The firm has also strengthened its international infrastructure with the appointment of Tara O’Donovan as International Onboarding Manager.
Returning to the business in this new role, O’Donovan will oversee the onboarding of international Licensees, delivering a structured, end-to-end programme designed to ensure consistency, operational confidence and alignment with the brand’s premium standards.
FIVE MORE MARKETS
Nicky Stevenson (main picture), Managing Director of Fine & Country, says: “International expansion has always been part of Fine & Country’s DNA, but 2026 will mark a step change in our ambitions.
“Our goal is to expand into at least five additional premium international markets during the year, making cross-border growth a clear strategic priority. We see significant opportunity to build on our strong reputation and proven model, while supporting our network with increased global reach.”
The business expects a larger global footprint to unlock increased referral opportunities across its network, particularly as high-net-worth individuals continue to view property ownership through a more international lens. Expanded cross-border collaboration and greater global brand awareness are also expected to benefit Licensees across the network.
