Fine & Country has entered the Italian property market for the first time after signing a new licence agreement in Milan and marking a significant expansion of the brand’s European footprint.
The new operation, Fine & Country Milan, will be led by property professional Silvio Gallo (main picture) alongside attorney Giuseppina Pugliese, combining international real estate expertise with specialist legal knowledge of the Italian market.
The licence covers Lombardy, with a particular focus on Milan and the Lake Como region.
The move reflects continued international demand for Italian luxury property, particularly in Milan’s prime districts and along Lake Como, which remains one of Europe’s most sought-after lifestyle destinations. Fine & Country said the Milan launch aligns with its strategy of expanding into key global cities with strong cross-border buyer appeal.
HIGH QUALITY PROPERTIES
Gallo brings experience working across Milan and the province of Como, advising both domestic and overseas buyers, while Pugliese operates across Milan, Monza and Como, offering legal expertise rooted in the region’s real estate, art, fashion and luxury sectors. Together, they have launched the new business and secured the Fine & Country licence for Lombardy.
Gallo says: “Our clients include both local buyers and an increasing number of international clients.
“We focus on high-quality properties: elegant Milan apartments, modern penthouses, and luxury villas in the Como area and around Lake Como, which continues to attract significant foreign interest.”
GLOBAL REACH
Pugliese adds: “Fine & Country offers the ideal combination of refined marketing, global reach, and a strong reputation for excellence. Milan is becoming increasingly international, and Lake Como is one of the world’s most desirable destinations. Many properties now require worldwide visibility to reach the right buyer.”
The partners said demand remains strong across Milan’s prime areas, including Brera, Magenta, Quadrilatero and Porta Venezia, while modern developments in CityLife and Porta Nuova continue to attract buyers seeking contemporary living. Outside the city, Lake Como remains a key draw for international purchasers.
Gallo adds: “Milan’s luxury homes are unique globally. They combine historical architecture with refined contemporary finishes, reflecting a distinctive blend of heritage, design, and international lifestyle.”
KEY DESTINATION

Nicky Stevenson, managing director of Fine & Country, says: “Italy has long been a key destination for expansion, and we are delighted to officially open in Milan with such a passionate team.
“Silvio and Giuseppina bring a rare combination of market knowledge, international fluency, and legal expertise. We look forward to seeing the brand grow across Lombardy and beyond.”
Gallo adds: “We are proud to launch the first Fine & Country office in Italy. Our goal is to represent the best of Milan and Lombardy with professionalism, elegance, and a truly international approach.”
Property Soup reported yesterday how Fine & Country had unveiled plans to accelerate its international expansion as it looked to build on 25 years of growth in the UK’s premium residential property market.
