Fine & Country Foundation’s Carols by Candlelight concert raises over £20,000 for charity

The Fine & Country Foundation Carols by Candlelight concert raised £20,458 in support of charities combatting homelessness and poverty in the Cambridgeshire region.

The concert, held in collaboration with King’s College Cambridge, has become a firm favourite annual fixture to kick start festive celebrations.
The Carols by Candlelight concert is one of The Foundation’s most successful and well supported yearly fundraising events, with a near capacity attendance each year.

The enchanting evening brings together Fine & Country employees, clientele, local residents, and families of King’s College students, all uniting in the spirit of giving.

FOUR CHARITIES

These organisations play a crucial role in providing vital services to homeless individuals, making a meaningful impact on their lives.

The historic and awe-inspiring King’s College Cambridge has served as the ideal backdrop for the Carols by Candlelight concert for the several years and adds to the atmosphere of the event.

The carols were led by the King’s Voices, the mixed choir of King’s College, whose renditions of the beloved carols filled the chapel with holiday warmth, inviting all in attendance to celebrate in the spirit of community and compassion.

Jon Cooke, Trustee of the Fine & Country Foundation, says: “Through the support of the Fine & Country network and the public, The Foundation has been able to have a positive impact on many people’s lives around the globe.

“The annual carol concert has been a massive contributor towards the money The Foundation has raised over the years and has helped support many charities and non-profit organisations in the work they are doing in their communities.”

He adds: “This year’s concert [which took place on Sunday, December 8] was especially meaningful as the Foundation celebrated an incredible milestone of both raising and donating over £1 million since its inception in 2014, supporting charities dedicated to combating homelessness and poverty.”
