Fine & Country Foundation bolsters Trustee board

The Fine & Country Foundation has strengthened its leadership with the appointment of two senior property industry figures to its Trustee Board as it steps up its long-term commitment to tackling homelessness and poverty.

Nicky Stevenson, Managing Director of Fine & Country, and Ben Dodds, Chief Financial Officer of The Property Franchise Group, have joined the board as Trustees, alongside existing members Sean Newman and Emilie Despois, Chief Marketing Officer of Fine & Country.
The expanded Trustee Board is responsible for safeguarding the charity’s purpose, setting strategic direction and ensuring strong governance, financial oversight and full legal compliance, with all decisions focused on delivering public benefit.

Founded in 2014, The Fine & Country Foundation supports charities addressing homelessness and poverty through a biannual grant programme and additional donations made throughout the year, funded by extensive fundraising activity across the Fine & Country network.

Dodds (main picture, inset, right) adds: “The Foundation has an impressive track record of ensuring that funds raised are used efficiently and responsibly to deliver meaningful change.

“I am delighted to be joining the Trustee board and look forward to supporting the charity’s continued growth, strong governance and long-term sustainability.”

COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING

Fundraising across the Fine & Country network has included marathons, golf days, Tough Mudder challenges, Sleep-Out events, mountain climbs, skydives and even swimming the English Channel. This collective effort has resulted in more than £1m being raised and donated to charitable causes.

The Foundation operates with minimal running costs, ensuring that close to 100% of funds raised go directly to supporting organisations and individuals in need across the UK and beyond.
