CSS Training Academy hits 100% pass rate

Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS) has chalked up another milestone after its latest academy cohort achieved a 100% pass rate in the AssocRICS assessment.

All 10 trainees successfully completed the programme and are now moving into surveying roles under the continued guidance of mentors and trainers.
The achievement edges the CSS Training Academy closer to its 500th graduate since its launch – making it one of the most prolific training pipelines in the sector.

At the centre of the initiative is Sarah Chalmers-Stevens, Head of Professional Development, whose team, alongside field surveyor mentors, has steered the trainees through the process.

FRESH PERSPECTIVES

The academy attracts graduates from a wide mix of personal and professional backgrounds, a factor CSS says is helping to bring fresh perspectives and broaden representation across the surveying profession.

Matthew Cumber (main picture), Managing Director of CSS, says the result underlined the importance of long-term investment in skills.

“Our Training Academy continues to be a hugely successful initiative.”

And he adds: “Our Training Academy continues to be a hugely successful initiative and one that we are immensely proud of. Achieving yet another 100% pass rate represents a fantastic achievement and is testament to the outstanding training and support network provided by the team.

“With nearly 500 graduates to date, the Academy is not only building careers but helping to secure the long-term future of the surveying sector for years to come.”

The flow of newly qualified surveyors comes as a welcome boost at a time when the industry continues to grapple with capacity and recruitment challenges.

CSS’s training model, combining structured support with on-the-job learning, is increasingly seen as a blueprint for growing the profession at scale.
