Countrywide Surveying Services promotes Kate Marlow to Head of Surveyor Development

Kate Marlow has been promoted to Head of Surveyor Development at Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS).

Marlow brings a wealth of experience to this newly created role having built a distinguished career in the surveying profession.
She joined CSS in 2004 and has since held a number of key roles across the business, including Chartered Surveyor, Managing Surveyor, Regional Operations Manager and Regional Director before stepping into her new role as Head of Surveyor Development.

With a focus on both professional and personal development Marlow will provide dedicated support to new and existing surveyors, ensuring they have every opportunity to enhance their skills and progress their careers.

Her responsibilities will include co-ordinating the aftercare programme for newly qualified surveyors, development programmes for existing surveyors, training days, conferences and the Valuer Forum.

She will also play a key role in wellbeing initiatives, including support networks for women in surveying, new parents, diversity and inclusion and the menopause, working closely with Regional Management Teams to provide one-to-one guidance.

Marlow’s appointment marks a new chapter for CSS as it continues to champion professional development and well-being within the surveying sector.
